Put Your Best Foot Forward

May 21, 2013

We are well into the spring (with summer just around the corner) and it's time for a wardrobe change. I've been waiting all winter to wear open toe shoes and now I get the chance. I love to go barefoot and open toe sandals and flip flops are as close as I can get without compromising total foot safety. It's time to prep our feet ladies.

To have lovely summer ready feet we need to slough off the old dry skin of the winter. A refreshing foot scrub will make quick work of that. There are several good ones on the market like Kiss My Face foot scrub, Body Shop Peppermint foot scrub, or you could try to make your own. I recommend using a foot scrub once or twice a week.Follow up with  a great moisturizer. A light body butter is good. A peppermint foot lotion is refreshing for the summer, and feels great on a hot summer day.

Once your feet are smooth and supple treat your toes to a pedicure. I believe a french pedicure is so classy. There are so many colours and options, have fun!
