Joa Bath and Body's Official Rules

To keep things fair for us and everyone else, we require that anyone who enters our contests and promotions to observe the following rules. Thanks a bunch.

General Guidelines

• It’s not necessary to make a purchase to enter.
• We need to make sure we follow the rules, so this contest (or any other for that matter) is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, and local laws.
• Joa Bath and Body is the sponsor of all contests unless a co-sponsor is indicated in the contest release.

Participant Eligibility & Guidelines

• We want everyone to have fun so our contest is open only to all willing participants and entrants regardless of country of residence, unless otherwise indicated, but are void where prohibited by law.
• To make sure we comply with the rules, as stated earlier, if you are under the age of 18 or are considered a minor in your province/state of residence must have a parent or legal guardian's permission. By participating, you confirm that you have your parents' consent. If you are over 18 then you’re okay.
• We want to give everyone a chance so an individual can enter only once, unless otherwise specified! Separate user accounts are not considered separate individuals.

Submission Guidelines

• For the safety of everyone involved, if you submit content for contest that includes the image of an individual, you must affirm that the individual is at least 18 years of age, or you must provide a written note of permission from the individual’s parent(s)/legal guardian(s)for your submission to be valid.
• We are glad that you are entering our contest, but please note that by submitting any content to Joa Bath and Body in connection with contest, you are affirming that you own and/or have all rights necessary to submit such content and to license it to Joa Bath and Body as set forth below. You are further affirming that use of the content submitted does not violate or infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity.
• Also, by submitting any content to Joa Bath and Body in connection with contest, you are granting Joa Bath and Body an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to reproduce and use, re-use, publish and republish the content, in whole or in part, without restriction as to changes, and in conjunction with or apart from your name. Joa Bath and Body reserves the right to use such content throughout its site, in marketing materials, outside of its site, or however else Joa Bath and Body sees fit.
• By entering a contest, you are agreeing to sign any necessary documentation that may be required to confer to Joa Bath and Body the rights to use your submission as set forth above.
• By entering a contest, you affirm your understanding that you will not receive any compensation or credit for use of your entry other than what is described in the specific contest release.
• Let’s keep it clean okay. Remember contest entries containing offensive or inappropriate material will be disqualified. This may consist of (but is not limited to) demeaning, racist, sexist language, profanity, and/or sexually explicit material.
• With all that creativity we want to show off your work. Contest entries must remain public for at least 30 days after the contest end date. If you need to remove an entry for a particular reason, please let us know by filling out aContact Us Form. 
• Here we go again with the rule thing. Joa Bath and Body reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete or illegible.
• We want to promote fairness. Joa Bath and Body reserves the right to disqualify any entry from an individual if such individual submits multiple entries.
• If you’re going to go through the trouble to enter this contest, we assume you are going to uphold the rules. Joa Bath and Body reserves the right to disqualify any individual or entry that violates the rules or is contrary to the spirit and intent of the rules.

Voting, Winning and Prize

• Contest prizes are not eligible for exchange or transfer of any kind.
• We are going to do everything we can to make sure you get the prize that was promised to you, however sometimes stuff happens that we can’t control. Joa Bath and Body retains the right to replace any prize with a gift certificate of the same value. Reasons for this can include (but are not limited to) item availability. The winner will be contacted in any such circumstance.
